Someone with Turetts just walked passed my window. I haven’t heard that many cuss words at one time… in a long time.
Here is a new song called “I’m in Love”. It’s gonna be the 2nd track on my album, The Bright Side (coming out on May 15th). I hope you like it…

Haha! Ewww…
Today I sang some songs for younghollywood.com #stuckonyou and #leavethelightson
What a cool experience and best of all, my parents were my entourage :)
No auto-tune boys and girls. This is why she was a badass.

Whitney Houston, you will be missed.
I know lots of 90s girls can agree with me when I say that Whitney Houston was the shit. That voice. That face. The way her mouth would quiver when she held a note. DAMN she was awesome.
When I was 11 years old, I bought my first CD, The Bodyguard Soundtrack. I loved every track and would practice those runs every night on my karaoke machine. I kept quiet to my friends and teachers about my love for singing until my 6th grade talent show. I decided to sing “Run To You” and I sang my heart out in front of the whole school. It was the 1st time I had ever experienced a standing ovation… As people clapped, I noticed my dad in the front row. He left work early to surprise me and I was indeed. It was the 1st time I saw him cry and It was the most incredible moment of my life. I have never been so proud.
So, thank you Whitney Houston. Your voice touched my soul as a kid. You inspired and empowered me as a scraggly little country girl who really didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I am eternally grateful.
